Founded in 2005 by Dan Collins to transform healthcare, GenesisCare is now a global organisation treating over 160,000 patients every year across more than 150 centres, primarily located in Australia, the UK and Spain. Dan Collin’s passion was sparked after supporting his father through a terminal illness. GenesisCare is now a multibillion-dollar business set to expand into China and beyond.
In 2017, and true to its values of innovation and patient-support, the business established the GenesisCare Foundation: an independent, not-for-profit organisation registered as a health promotion charity. The creation of the GenesisCare Foundation has been a natural and critical step for an organisation committed to providing access to innovative, cutting edge treatments through a patient centric approach. The Foundation exists to improve the prevention and control of cancer and cardiac disease, working in three key focus areas: research and education, innovation, and patient access.
The newly established GenesisCare Foundation is at an exciting time in its evolution with significant seed funding, the appointment of competent Foundation professionals, and the backing and support of GenesisCare and its founder.
