The organisation
Hello Sunday Morning is a renowned non-profit organisation that aims to change the global relationship with alcohol and promote a healthier approach to drinking. Founded in Australia in 2009 by Chris Raine, Hello Sunday Morning started as a personal blog documenting Chris’s own journey to take a break from alcohol for a year. Since then, it has evolved into a global movement with a strong online community and a variety of programs.
The organisation’s primary focus is to challenge the social norms surrounding alcohol and encourage individuals to reassess their relationship with alcohol. Hello Sunday Morning provides a supportive and non-judgmental digital platform where people can set personal goals, such as taking a break from, reducing or quitting their drinking and share their experiences with others.
The opportunity
Hello Sunday Morning is seeking to appoint two new Non-Executive Directors to complement their Board. Ideally, these Directors will be highly strategic with proven success in fundraising, marketing and the scaling up of start-ups or SMEs. Expertise and personal interest in digital healthcare platforms and the drug and alcohol sector would also be highly beneficial. Directors with expertise in public policy, government relations, clinical governance, and product development would also be considered favourably. Importantly, the new directors will have strongly aligned values and be able to make the necessary time commitment.
