About the role
The Head of Learning Product is responsible for overseeing the development of all learning products for learners enrolled through Catalyst Education RTOs (Selmar Institute of Education, Practical Outcomes and Royal College of Healthcare). This is a newly created position to provide leadership, oversight and coordination of all Catalyst Education courses, including the design and review of course curriculum, management and supervision of learning design staff, and learning strategies to ensure continuous quality improvement that meets the needs and service expectations of all Catalyst Education stakeholders.
Catalyst Education is seeking a talented VET professional, highly skilled in strategic leadership, product development, and team and project management. As Senior Leadership Team Member (SLT), you will be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation and develop courses from inception to implementation in response to new and existing market demands. You will bring a strong focus on collaboration, quality and accountability.
To be successful in this position you will need at least 3 years’ experience in a VET industry environment with an ability to address contemporary approaches to learner-centric, flexible education, including online/ LMS platforms. You will have a demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Critical to success will be an ability to forge partnerships especially with industry and government. Working on the SLT, you will be responsible for managing staff, budget and resources and driving a culture of performance with a strong focus on outcomes.
