The organisation
Children’s Ground’s visionary approach is having real impact in First Nations communities. The organisation exists for First Nations communities and is led by First Nations people. They are creating a new future for children filled with promise, hope and empowerment.
Officially established in 2011, the Children’s Ground approach is implemented in collaboration with communities experiencing extreme disadvantage, to bring out community, systemic, and societal change over the course of a generation so that children, families, and community enjoy social, cultural, political and economic wellbeing.
To leverage the work done to date, Children’s Ground is looking to appoint a Head of Fundraising to take the organisation to the next level to achieve maximum impact and accelerate progress towards its strategic 25-year vision
The role
You will be genuinely aligned to the work of Children’s Ground and believe in the power of storytelling to bring to life the important work they do. You will have a deep understanding of and considerable experience in best practice, scientific fundraising combined with a strong commercial acumen. You will be comfortable with multi-million-dollar income targets and have a proven track record of growth. Drawing on your previous experience, you will demonstrate an excellent ability to build rapport and deepen relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will inspire and motive those around you, especially your small but capable team. You will also demonstrate good strategic and financial management skills and be qualified in fundraising.
