Uniting is one of the largest human services organisations in Australia employing approximately 10,000 people across NSW and the ACT. The role
The Director of Innovation and Social Impact is a member of the Executive Team reporting to the Executive Director. At Uniting, innovation is embraced to solve the most important societal and environmental challenges that face our nation and the communities they serve. Uniting’s history of social innovation is linked to their mission and purpose to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice.
The refreshed 10-year strategy is to disrupt entrenched disadvantage. Driving social innovation through applied research, advocacy, key partnerships and community engagement, combined with service led innovation that promotes and reacts to ‘the what’ that customers need, is critical to the success of this role and Uniting’s continued focus on serving communities.
