Established in 2009, CareerTrackers Indigenous Internship Program (CareerTrackers), is an innovative organisation, leading professional Indigenous employment programs in Australia to create opportunities and inspire excellence.  The organisation creates multi-year internships and private sector employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university students.   Working with over 1,300 students, 37 universities and 108 corporate partners nationally, CareerTrackers seeks to address how Australians think about Indigenous Australia and shine a light on Indigenous advantage – not disadvantage.  CareerTracker’s Interns and Alumni represent a generation of Indigenous professionals who will change the landscape, not only of corporate Australia, but of the wider Australian society.

With a key goal to increase representation of Indigenous Australians in professional, and private sector employment, the organisation has seen the signing of almost 20, 10-year partnerships with some of corporate Australia’s top companies who have committed to the long-term to ensure the employment pathway of indigenous students.

As part of the organisation’s growth trajectory, CareerTrackers are now seeking an energetic General Manager – Program Delivery (VIC) to lead, motivate and inspire a team and stakeholder group more broadly, to support organisational efficiency and performance outcomes. You will have strong commercial acumen and excel at managing strategic relationships and engaging a network of corporate, community and academic leaders across Victoria.

You will understand the importance of data that will inform how you implement, evaluate and manage all program related activities. You will be committed to building upon the organisation’s culture of excellence that will underpin future program and organisational enhancements.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly committed, experienced and goal driven leader who has a proven track record of meeting ambitious targets and is committed to advancing the future of the CareerTrackers Program.  You must have relevant degree qualifications.  Ideally, you will have awareness of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and have a preparedness to commit to indigenous advancement.
