PositiveMedia is a Melbourne-based, Christian media organisation that creates, curates and communicates world class, missionally driven & intentionally transformational audio content that positively impacts the personal journey of its audience. PositiveMedia is home of 89.9 TheLight, TheLight MIX, TheLight Worship and TheLight Christmas, broadcasting on radio and online 24/7 at thelight.com.au.
The role
There is now a requirement for a General Manager Operations (GM). The GM will report to the CEO and will lead the leaders of all external stakeholder engagement for the organisation.
The GM will ensure the development and execution of the tactical goals necessary to meet the strategic objectives of PositiveMedia.
The GM will manage four strong leaders who are responsible for the following business units: Content, Sales, Fundraising and Commercial Partnerships.
The GM role requires a strong leader with maturity and excellent people skills. They will have a proven track record leading diverse and customer-centric teams on a journey.
The GM will have a strong sense of accountability both to their team and to the CEO and Board. They must be mission aligned with the Christian beliefs of PositiveMedia and feel a strong calling to lead and continue this important work.
