The organisation
Lifestyle Solutions is a renowned, National Human Services organisation that has recently merged with Possability in order to strengthen and scale services across Australia.
Collectively, the organisations provide support services to people with disability, young people and children in out-of-home care, their families and communities. Services include disability support, foster care, accommodation services, supported employment, mental health support, and individualised planning.
Lifestyle Solutions prioritise person-centred support and are committed to children, young people and their families experiencing love, care, safety, choice of decision making and empowerment in their own lives.
The role
Following the recent merger, Lifestyle Solutions are strengthening and seeking to expand the organisation in jurisdictions outside NSW. The National Director, Family Based Care (The Director) will shape the family-based care model, enhance carers’ experience, and innovate resource allocation through business development, corporate and government partnerships.
The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker, able to build and leverage evidence-based models, and drive implementation. The Director will also need to have a deep understanding of family-based care and be well-respected in the sector, particularly by government, in order to effectively drive positive change and expand the organisation’s footprint. The Director will play a key role in enabling the leadership capability of the organisation and driving improved positive outcomes for children and young people, their families, carers and commnities.
