The role
At Inside Policy, Senior Managers play a pivotal role in their mission of effecting national change one policy at a time. They lead the successful execution of government client engagements while serving as both team leaders and client advocates. In this capacity, Senior Managers provide crucial support and guidance to the General Manager, Advisory, managing project and strategic risks. They also oversee project teams, ensuring projects are on-time, and delivered without compromising quality. Senior Managers are instrumental in realising Inside Policy’s vision and values, with a focus on project leadership, quality assurance, risk management, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
Reporting to the General Manager, Advisory, and the Executive Leadership Team, the Senior Manager contributes to quality assurance, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management. Senior Managers provide expertise in various subject areas, offering policy advice, and managing complex research and evaluation projects. Additionally, they actively engage in business development, leading project proposal development and cultivating external networks within their policy domains. These roles demand a combination of professional consulting experience, advising skills, and a commitment to improving outcomes for Indigenous peoples and vulnerable communities, aligning with Inside Policy’s mission.
Travel may also be required if the successful applicant is based outside of Sydney.
