Acting as a force for positive change, Inside Policy is committed to supporting their clients create solutions to complex policy and program problems. With a deep commitment to improving policy outcomes particularly in the areas of Indigenous affairs, Indigenous economic development, family violence, children and family services and disability services, the Inside Policy Team use creative human centered design methods to collaborate with clients, and the people they serve to build and strengthen policies and programs that deliver real outcomes. The team do this using social research, program evaluation, consultation and policy design and are changing the world – one policy at a time.

About the Role

Inside Policy has an ambitious growth agenda for the next five years and are seeking the skills of an experienced Manager. Curious, capable and with an unrelenting drive for excellence, you will:

  • Ensure the effective co-ordination and utilisation of team members, budgets, time, and resources across several projects simultaneously.
  • Provide clear direction and feedback, maintaining excellent levels of communication both internally and externally.
  • Provide strategic insights and technical expertise to team members.
  • Manage research, evaluation and co-design projects that involve the development of innovative, evidence-based solutions to complex problems.
  • Proactively engage with clients as key contact, staying ahead of risks and opportunities.
  • Be very capable of working in a small, growing fast paced organisation.
  • Contribute to business development, leveraging existing relationships and supporting a healthy pipeline of meaningful work.
