The role

The Director, Consulting is a senior leadership position based in Darwin, responsible for leading SVA’s consulting practice across the Northern Territory and Northern Australia. The role involves strategic oversight of all operational activities, including identifying and securing impactful advisory work, developing and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. As a member of SVA’s Consulting leadership team, the Director will also contribute to national business decision-making and strategy development, while leading a Darwin-based team that focuses on projects with significant social impact, particularly those involving First Nations communities.

This unique role is ideal for an experienced management consultant with a demonstrated commitment to social impact, and a strong commitment to working in partnership with First Nations people. The Director will be expected to model SVA’s values, mentor and develop team members, and drive thought leadership in the social sector. The position requires exceptional strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills, to win and deliver projects that align with SVA’s purpose and vision  to alleviate disadvantage and create sustainable social change.
