The organisation
The Humpty Dumpty Foundation (HDF) is a leading Australian children’s charity dedicated to enhancing healthcare for children nationwide. For over 30 years, HDF has been instrumental in providing essential and often lifesaving medical equipment to neonatal units, paediatric wards, and emergency departments across approximately 500 hospitals and health services throughout Australia. By bridging the gap between limited health budgets and the pressing needs of medical facilities, HDF ensures that every child in Australia has access to the healthcare they need, regardless of their location.
The role
As Treasurer and Non-Executive Director, you will guide the financial governance of HDF, collaborating with the Finance Manager and Board. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgets and audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, developing long-term financial strategies, and contributing to fundraising and donor engagement. Your leadership will ensure HDF continues its vital mission to enhance healthcare for children nationwide.
We seek a CA or CPA-qualified financial leader with over 15 years of experience, ideally including treasury roles in the not-for-profit sector. Knowledge of governance, strong business acumen, and connections in corporate Australia are highly advantageous. Above all, you will share a commitment to HDF’s mission and demonstrate integrity & strategic insight.
