The organisation

Consent Labs, established in 2016, is an organisation committed to advancing consent education and awareness, particularly focusing on issues surrounding sexual consent. Through workshops, seminars, and online campaigns, they strive to promote the significance of clear, enthusiastic, and ongoing consent in all types of relationships. Their efforts include developing educational materials, providing training sessions for schools, universities, community organisations and collaborating with like-minded organisations.

Today, Consent Labs have grown to become recognised leaders in the consent education arena, committed to promoting consent education, and advocacy. With a mission to create a culture of affirmative consent and respect, they work tirelessly to empower individuals to understand and assert their boundaries in all aspects of their lives.

The role

Recently established, Consent Labs are entering a new phase of growth and are looking to appoint additional non-executive directors, and a Chair to strengthen their governance capability and underpin the organisations future.

With a focus on consolidating their growth trajectory, and strategic emphasis on scaling up their operations the Board are seeking experienced Non-Executive Directors, who are young at heart, aligned to the voice of young people, able to command their respect and eager to contribute to this growing business.

The new Directors will have significant governance experience and commercial acumen, able to proactively advance the Consent Labs’ governance framework ahead of future growth and impact.  Strategic expertise and experience in sustainable revenue development, strategic planning combined with proven success in building effective relationships and partnerships, will be highly regarded. Specifically, the Chair will have a role to play in mentoring the organisations founding CEO – a rising star in the world of social impact.

This is an outstanding opportunity for highly committed, commercial, and energetic leaders who will guide the board, drive growth and expansion, and be a true advocate for Consent Labs and their work.  Importantly, you will be committed to Consent Labs’ vision and purpose and be ready to take the organisation to its next level.
