The organisation

Integricare Ltd is a Christian, not-for-profit organisation that provides early childhood education and family services. With a history spanning over 140 years, Integricare operates a network of early learning centres and preschools across Sydney, offering long day care and pre-school programs for children from six weeks of age. The organisation is committed to fostering holistic child development within a caring Christian environment, engaging local communities, and supporting families through various family services, including specialist programs for vulnerable and disadvantaged children. Their mission is to create a positive impact on children, their families, and their communities.

The role

The CEO role at Integricare involves leading the organisation with a strong commitment to its Christian identity, values, and mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring operational excellence across its early learning centres, and fostering a positive culture in line with Integricare’s values of compassion, hope, respect, innovation, support, and trust.  The ideal candidate will have significant executive leadership experience, desirably in the early learning, education or community sector, with strong business acumen, proven ability to lead teams, and a commitment to Integricare’s Christian values.

In particular, this role will:

  • Drive sustainable growth; Integricare aims to significantly expand their services over the next five years
  • Identify and address the current and emerging needs of families and local communities
  • Deliver defined operational and commercial outcomes
  • Lead the focus on assurance, compliance, and safety
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key government, church and sector stakeholders
  • Provide strong leadership, coaching and support to direct reports
