Employing over 1,300 people, Y NSW is a beacon of inspiration and community impact.
Y NSW is at an exciting time in its evolution; with a dedicated Board, a proven track record for excellence in community engagement, and is well positioned as a leading “for purpose” organisation to grow and expand its reach under the guidance of an emotionally intelligent, financially astute and experienced leader.
The role
Building upon the Y NSW’s success to date and its trusted reputation, the incoming CEO will work closely with the Board to refine and deliver the organisation’s 2022-2025 Strategic Plan (that is aligned with the global and Y Australia Vision 2030 Strategy), streamline day-to-day operations, and fortify its financial position for strength and growth within the context of an enterprise approach to sustainability.
This role calls for an experienced, commercially astute leader, adept at balancing commercial and social imperatives, in a time that presents both opportunity and challenge in the delivery of human programs and services. In addition, Y NSW needs a leader experienced in service delivery, project management and stakeholder engagement to underpin its success. At a time of transformation, the new CEO will steer Y NSW through its next critical chapter leveraging digital technologies for efficiencies and scale.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an innovative leader with exemplary commercial, strategic and people management skills gained in the public or the private sector in an organisation of equivalent size and complexity. Experience in, or exposure to a non-profit, children and youth sector organisation is highly desirable.
