Leverage your expertise in philanthropy, governance and grantmaking to Australian charities to enrich the lives of Australian women and their families

  • Manage a growing philanthropic portfolio in a commercial setting
  • Build the narrative to create maximum social impact
  • Design a social impact strategy to ensure sustainability and success

The organisation

Established in 2011, the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation (PSF) is the philanthropic arm of Priceline, a prominent player in Australia’s health and beauty industry and a key member of the Wesfarmers Health group.  The Foundation’s inception traces back to a Priceline Pharmacy event where Sir Bob Geldof shared invaluable insights gained from his extensive charity work spanning two decades. Inspired by Geldof’s vision, the PSF is driven by a mission to contribute meaningfully to the community, with a particular focus on supporting women and their families across all life stages.  Their overarching goal is to bolster the long-term capability and sustainability of the Foundation’s Charity Partners.

Guided by its overarching vision, the PSF has successfully raised over $8.65 million for Charity Partners.  These partners are carefully selected based on a comprehensive national survey that garnered input from over 25,000 respondents.  Through its commitment to philanthropy and community support, the PSF continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many.

The role

The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation is seeking an experienced leader to build and execute the Foundation’s strategy to genuinely position the organisation as a strategic, impactful grant maker; one that at the same time supports and mentors charity partners to enhance their own impact and build sustainable models. This marks a significant turning point for the Foundation, leading them into a new chapter that promises greater visibility, increased income, and enhanced social impact.

The Foundation Manager will be an experienced leader with deep knowledge of the for-purpose and philanthropic sectors in Australian charities, an excellent grasp of strategy development, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, communications and impact measurement.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, self-driven individual who is passionate about philanthropic funding for the not-for-profit sector in Australia.  Successful applicants are expected to bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a relevant environment, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of grant making strategies and practices and be experienced at devising strategies and campaigns for impact.

The ideal candidate will excel in managing diverse relationships, possess confidence in guiding and supporting philanthropic programs within a corporate setting, and be adept at researching charities and for-purpose organisations.  The position also requires the ability to identify areas when the wider Priceline business and its networks can mentor or support charity partners to better facilitate their activities and growth. The role involves presenting to board members, amplifying and diversifying fundraising and marketing efforts, and elevating the profile of the Foundation and its partners. Operating autonomously and collaboratively, the successful candidate will bring deep understanding of board governance requirements, financial acumen, solid marketing and communications expertise, along with an extensive knowledge of Australian charities and partnerships.
