The organisation
At Raise we exist to help young people. We do one thing, and we do it really well – youth mentoring.
Our best-practice program is proven to make positive and sustained change. Mentoring empowers young people to be resilient, connected and hopeful for the future. We match trained and trusted volunteers with teenagers who would benefit most from an independent, caring adult who is there to listen and show up just for them.
Our early intervention youth mentoring program is currently in over 180 high schools across Australia. This translates to over 2,000 young people matched with a qualified mentor, and we are growing each year.
The role
This position is accountable for leading the operations function for Raise Foundation.
Extensive experience in operations management, strategic planning, and risk governance, with proven expertise in finance, technology, legal, and compliance. A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, adept at solving complex problems and engaging with C-level executives and Boards. Demonstrates exceptional leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building, with a passion for creating change and delivering high-quality results. Skilled in project and change management, and experienced in for-purpose or fast-growing organisations, with a deep understanding of governance, risk management standards, and regulatory frameworks.
As a key member of the Executive Management Team, this role reports to and collaborates with the CEO as well as Directors, and the Board to develop organisational goals and execute operational plans that drive Raise’s Strategic Impact Plan.
