The organisation
Somerville Community Services is a for-purpose organisation in the Northern Territory, offering high-quality disability services for over 50 years. Known for their innovative and individualised care, Somerville supports people with disabilities, their families, and carers through carefully curated services, including supported independent living, specialist accommodation, and support coordination. The organisation prides itself on best practice procedures and an individualised approach, ensuring their services meet the unique needs and aspirations of those they support. Launched in September 2023, Somerville Housing is a dedicated Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider and developer, providing unique independent living options for local people living with disabilities. With a focus on delivering high-quality, individualised care, Somerville Housing offers purpose-built SDA, unique to the Northern Territory. The organisation is committed to best practice procedures and an individualised approach, aiming to enhance the quality of life for Territorians with disabilities.
The CEO role
Given Somerville’s proud history and connection with the NT, and strong reputation in the community, the Board of Directors is seeking an experienced executive with close ties, a strong affiliation, and an established network in the NT. The next CEO of Somerville will be a deeply experienced, collaborative, commercial and customer-focused leader who can continue to lead the impressive service provision, leadership team, team culture, and development initiatives.
