The organisation

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia (Duke of Ed) is a globally recognised non-formal education framework that empowers over 50,000 young Australians each year to discover their purpose, passion, and place in the world.  The Duke of Ed Framework supports transformative initiatives beyond the classroom, to equip young people with essential life skills and experiences for growth, fostering resilience, adaptability, and a sense of community. 

The role

The CEO will lead the organisation with integrity and excellence at the highest echelons of State, Federal and Royal influence. This pivotal role requires a strategic, values-driven leader who can strengthen the organisation’s impact both today and for the future.  Key priorities include:

  • Driving the strategic plan and operational excellence across Australia and Pacific
  • Expanding reach & participation through your influence & leadership in the education sector
  • Strengthening relationships with government, education, corporate, & community stakeholders
  • Ensuring continued financial independence & governance excellence
  • Representing the organisation nationally & internationally as an ambassador for youth empowerment

The ideal candidate will bring unwavering dedication and energy to stakeholder management , experience in strategy development, a proven ability to lead growth and transformation, and a passion for equipping young Australians to thrive.
