The organisation
Glenray Industries Limited is a respected for-purpose organisation based in Bathurst, NSW, with a proud 65-year history of supporting people living with disability. An approved NDIS provider, Glenray offers a broad range of services including accommodation, supported employment, day program, support coordination, plan management, and respite care.
With over 300 employees — including more than 50 supported workers — Glenray is committed to fostering inclusion and accessibility. The organisation’s mission is to empower people living with disability to have choice and control in their lives, enabling them to live the life they choose. Recent developments, such as the opening of Saltbush, a new Specialist Disability Accommodation group home, reflect Glenray’s continued investment in independence and community-based care.
The organisation also operates a large-scale laundry business that plays a vital role in supported employment and workforce participation.
The role
Reporting to the board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead Glenray in delivering high-quality, person-centred disability services while ensuring operational stability and alignment across a diverse and complex organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong oversight of both service delivery and the commercial operations that support it.
Glenray is seeking a values-driven leader with a strong understanding of the disability or human services sector. You will bring proven people leadership at executive level, financial and operational acumen, and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity and respect. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a collaborative and practical approach.
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or social enterprise would be highly regarded. A relevant degree is preferred, though not essential.
Based in Bathurst, the role would suit someone already living in the region or looking for a Tree Change.
