The organisation

Project Rozana is an international non-profit founded in 2013, dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare through cooperation between Israeli and Palestinian communities.  Headquartered in Switzerland, Rozana operates with affiliates in Australia, Canada, Israel, Palestine, the UK, and the USA, and a regional operations team in the Middle East.

Through partnerships at institutional, professional, and grassroots levels, we strengthen health systems, train healthcare professionals, transport patients, and deliver life-saving treatment. Our vision is simple but powerful: healthcare is a human right and a bridge to peace. By advancing practical, cooperative health initiatives, Rozana builds trust, fosters understanding, and lays the foundation for lasting peace—a concept we call Health Diplomacy.

The role

Join Project Rozana Australia as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and lead a bold mission to build peace through healthcare. You’ll drive fundraising and partnerships, working with government, philanthropists, corporates, and communities to fuel Rozana’s impact. You’ll oversee game-changing programs, including the $4M Day After Project, making sure they deliver results and meet the highest compliance standards. As the face of Rozana, you’ll grow its national profile, amplify its message as a secular health diplomacy charity, and inspire support across Australia. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for a leader who can set strategy, manage operations, and roll up their sleeves to make things happen.

We’re looking for a proven fundraiser and relationship-builder with the energy and influence to grow Rozana’s donor base and reach new audiences. You’ll know how to work with government, navigate DFAT processes, and build trust across diverse communities. You’re a confident spokesperson, a strategic thinker, and a skilled diplomat who can manage sensitive issues with care. Experience in international development, health, or peacebuilding is a plus, as is familiarity with the Middle East. Most importantly, you’ll bring drive, resilience, and a passion for using healthcare to create lasing change.
