The organisation
Raise exists to help young people. They do one thing, and they do it really well – youth mentoring.
Raise Foundation’s evidence-based program is proven to make positive and sustained change. Mentoring empowers young people to be resilient, connected and hopeful for the future. They match trained and trusted volunteers with young people who would benefit most from an independent, caring adult who is there to listen and show up just for them.
The organisation’s early intervention youth mentoring program is currently delivered in hundreds of high schools and communities across Australia. Since 2008, Raise has supported more than 18,500 young people and trained more than 11,000 volunteer mentors.
